As a family business, we cherish the moments spent together eating around a table, sharing stories of our day with a plate of great homemade Italian food, and that’s exactly how we want our guests to feel. We want you to feel part of the family, eating our food and loving it as much as we loved making it, and of course, returning time and time again.
We have created a cosy environment and a great menu to make our place the perfect choice for a romantic night out, an early dinner with the family, or a relaxed weekend lunch with friends.
OUR FOOD
We pride ourselves on using the freshest ingredients we can get our hands on to make the type of food that will have you coming back for more. Our sauces are homemade, using the juiciest Italian tomatoes, capers and olives, the creamiest Scottish cream, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, guaranteeing depth of flavour to all our dishes. A winning combination when paired with the finest Scottish seafood and meats we use in our pasta dishes, pizzas and risottos.
Our head chef creates daily specials using local seasonal produce delivered fresh every day, and if you’ve got a sweet tooth, you have to try our famous homemade Tiramisu.
Just like most families, we have a range of dietary requirements to accommodate, so we designed gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. No matter who’s eating what, you can all eat together, family-style, at Leonardo’s.

Our Story
Growing up with a passion for tasty homemade food, our head chef and co-owner spent years crafting his skills and knowledge. Serving up great Italian food for over 10 years in restaurants throughout central Scotland, whilst also raising his two young sons with his wife and co-owner in Glasgow’s southside, the dream was always to open their very own family restaurant.
When the old solicitors' office on the corner of Paisley Road West and Crookston Road went up for sale, they jumped at the chance and, after months of renovation and hard work, the venue was transformed into a beautiful Italian eatery, ready to welcome the local community.
Now, more than two years in, and a pandemic under their belt, Leonardo’s is thriving and has become the family-run business they always wanted.
OUR FAMILY
In Italian culture family is everything, and at Leonardo’s it’s at the very heart of everything we do. Co-owned by husband and wife duo, who in true Italian style, are supported by close family members with the day-to-day running of the business. In fact the whole team are just like one big extended family, supporting and helping one another make Leonardo’s the best Italian eatery this side of the River Clyde.

Using only the freshest of ingredients and source local where possible, ensures the quality of our dishes. We have selected the best Italian wines and beers to compliment our food and, with a fully stocked bar, there’s plenty of choice for everyone.
OUR VENUE
We have created a warm and welcoming venue in a stunning old building from the 1930s, which sat empty for over 10 years. With a lick of paint and plenty of hard work, we breathed new life into the venue and are proud to say now serves our local community in the southside of Glasgow. Our front-of-house team are the friendliest bunch of people who will always welcome you to Leonardo’s with a big smile and ‘Come in, what can I get you?’.
